Key Highlights
Hardware State Machine
Designed an interactive embedded system using an Arduino Nano to monitor user hydration habits. Integrated a tilt sensor to track physical movement, alongside a cascading notification system utilizing RGB LEDs, a piezo buzzer, and a tactile vibration motor.
Escalating Notification Logic
Programmed a timed threshold sequence that triggers escalating alerts based on inactivity. After one hour, the system initiates a silent green LED pulse. If ignored, it escalates to a yellow LED with haptic vibration, and finally to a high-priority red LED with an audible 5-second buzzer loop.

Automated Habit Tracking
Engineered a reliable, low-power desktop device that seamlessly resets its logic loop the moment the bottle is picked up. The project demonstrated efficient use of basic sensor inputs to drive complex, user-facing hardware interactions.
Designed for measurable product growth
Every design decision focused on improving usability, increasing engagement.
3
Alert Stages
Visual, haptic, and audible notifications based on time thresholds.
1hr
Baseline Inactivity
Configurable software threshold to trigger the first alert state.
100%
Automated Reset
Tilt sensor instantly resets the timer upon physical interaction.
